CBD - is it worth it?

I've been using CBD ointments, salves, and creams for almost 3 years now with varying effectiveness. So I went hunting. I want to provide the best products for my clients without breaking the bank. I ordered 2 different products (plus the one I have been using) and I am trying them out, one by one. Giving each one and entire day to see if it works, how long it lasts, how it smells etc.

Today I tried CBD Healthcare company's CBD Natural Relief Salve 1000mg Maximum Strength. Now, this is a bit on the pricey side. Retail it is $114 for 1 fl oz.

I put this amount :

On the top and sides of my right ankle at 11:30 am. I get injections in that ankle every 3 months and when the shot wears off, as it has now and I still have weeks to go before my next one, it is PAINFUL. It smells AWESOME. Like coconut, lavender and eucalyptus and not a lot of the eucalyptus. It feel warm and comforting going on. Within 15 minutes it was less painful. By 1pm I was OUT OF PAIN. Now i don't mean i could play basketball or dance. Certainly not (maybe?). But I was able to work and not wince on the inside with every step I took or to sit and have it throb even though I was snot moving it. it was better. Much, much better. It slowly wore off so as i sit here at 8:45pm it does not hurt if I am resting and if i stand, it hurts but not enough to limp. I am impressed. If I had reapplied it, I could maybe do some light belly dance. Totally worth the price tag. Tomorrow we will try the other new one.
