About Us

Julia Lawrence took her first class in aromatherapy 1991. She was a part of the alternative health industry for 15 years using art, energy work (including chakra balancing) crystals and aromatherapy to help people heal themselves prior to transitioning to the massage side of things in 2009.

​

In 2014 she published a book BodyArt Therapy on the modality she developed of the same name.

In September 2015 she graduated with her Associates Degree in Applied Science: Massage.

​

She opened Serenity Massage & Energywork in October 2015.

​

She was honored to be one the LMT's for the 2016 USA Olympic  Swim Team Trials.

About Us

Julia had been an aromatherapist for over 25 years, but she decided she needed credentials and in 2018 she graduated with her Master Clinical Aromatherapist Certificate.

​

In November of 2019 she received her credentials as a Death Doula (End of Life doula) from INELDA.

​

After being open for 5 years,  Julia debated moving into a bigger space. The Universe stepped in and due to the Coronavirus, she had to move her practice out of her home and into a new location.

This move allowed her to expanded to two therapists, allows for more services and is handi-capable accessible.
