this years Harvest Moon will also be a supermoon, so all work is amplified. It is ALSO a lunar eclipse- meaning the shadow of things will be LESS visible, things can be hidden and is a good time for rest. We will honor and give thanks for the things we have harvested and also acknowledge that the 'stores' we have will have to last us through the comin winter reflection time, giving us nourishment and strength to really look within. Because this moon is joined by Neptune, the planet of imagination & illusion, expect a deep pull toward gentle activities like scrapbooking, dream journaling, and prioritizing kind acts of service for yourself and others. This mid-fall (traditionally fall starts Aug 1) moon bridges the gap between your emotions and thoughts, leading to deeper self-understanding and productivity. We will be present in our bodies through Somatic movement, scanning and identifying areas/wounds that need our attention with close attention through breathwork and stretching. Afterwards we will select a journal (provided) that will serve us at least until Spring and spend some time during our tea ceremony writing down what is needed, what we found/discovered/let go etc. Be Well - Maya
