From eating ‘the rainbow’ of fruits and veggies to eating only specific foods at specific times depending on your need. Food should be thought of as fuel, medicine and pleasure. Just because it is good for you, does not mean it needs to taste like cardboard.
Find a good recipe. what makes a good recipe? One that lists delicious ingredients and puts them together in an interesting way.
I bought a vegan crock pot recipe book. I am not vegan but there are lots of recipes that follow the vegan way that are yummy.
Another intersting route to go i learned with this class is that of urban foraging. You go out and pick things to eat right off the ground. in yards, parks, anywhere. Now the owman teaching this class does so and gets most of her nutrtion during spring, summer and fall through this method.
I do NOT advocate this. for one- you are taking from people property or ublic property and i do not think that is legal. For two- how the heck are you to know what the person or governing body SPRAYED on the plant?? You ingest some horrible stuff. i asked her about this and she shrugged and said it had ot been a problem for her.
